In addition, RP and RT also have a positive and significant association with the asset allocation in the banking sector of Indonesia. Based on the findings, current study added a body of literature in the empirical findings which could become a new of area of research in future. The research limitations and future directions are also discussed at the end of the study.
The prime aim of the study was to investigate the impact of the financial inflows on the economic growth of ASEAN economies. Meanwhile, the study has examined the moderating role of currency crisis in the relationship between financial inflows and the economic growth of ASEAN countries. The study has employed the panel data methodology to achieve the research objectives. Theoretically and empirically it seems that foreign capital inflows have different possible effects on growth and development performance of an economy. If foreign capital inflows are used in an efficient and productive manner then, they will promote country ‘s growth performance. If foreign capital inflows are used in unproductive manner then they will not contribute in a long run, their impact on economic development will only for a short run. Furthermore, the financial crisis (currency crisis) also have a significant influence in the attraction of foreign capital inflows. These financial crises effect the flow of foreign capital inflows among the countries. The results suggest that the flow of workers ‘remittances in the country has significant positive impact on economic growth. Moreover, the banking and systemic crisis hurt the relationship between REM and EG. Worker remittances are considered as a boon to the countries. It has a positive association with the economic growth and acts a stabilizer during the financial crisis. To ensure the effective inflows of the remittance the government should encourage that remittance should be transferred through formal channels, this can be done by giving cost effective financial services to the remitter, linking the remittance transfer with mobile networks and banks that charge low prices.
This research study has given important implications for regulators through elaborating the association between economic growth, financial openness among the five member countries of ASEAN including Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, and Singapore. An insight has been provided about the relation of economic growth and trade openness from the practical aspect in ASEAN economies. Therefore, the policy makers are supported through this information to develop, overview, and revise the existing regulations and policies of financial openness. This research study has made significant contributions through analyzing the association between economic growth and financial openness from the theoretical aspect. The study has argued that the current literature is extended by this study through focusing on the developing economies of ASEAN. Banking sector is a crucial institution for any economy and economic growth is negatively influenced through collapse of the banking activities. Further, financial system comes at risk through financial openness, but it has a considerable role in the development of economies. The financial system liberalization is the main factor, which drives economic growth among the ASEAN countries. There is need for the policy makers to review and alter the existing regulations of financial openness.

Secondary data is collected during the time of 2000–2017 for ten firms in each country. Findings through regression analysis indicates the fact that significant determinant for fixed payment ratio is required rate of return, size, market to book ratio, systematic risk, and inflation are significant determinant. For interest covered ratio, key determinants are required return, total debt, and market to book ratio, size, and inflation. For dividend payment, size, debt ratio, inflation, and market value of equity. For interest payment, systematic risk, inflation, log market value of equity, size and market to book ratio are found to be significant determinant. These findings are providing a new insight in the literature of finance and financial management. Both theoretical and practical significance of the study can be viewed through provision of literature discussion and empirical findings. Policy makers, financial analysts, and other industry experts can utilize these findings as a meaningful source for strategic decision. However, future studies can be reconsidered remaining countries in ASEAN region and better sample size of the firms.

Technical and fundamental analyses are the two investment making decisions widely spread all around the world. The financial crisis of 2008-2009 had a negative impact on the decisions of the Lithuanian investors to choose stock as the best investment option. However, national economics is cyclical and after recession recovery follows. Production volumes are anticipated to increase seeing that analysts forecast further GDP growth. Due to this reason, additional funding for the successful performance of enterprises will be required. Therefore, financial resources must be attracted by issuing new volumes of stocks. On the other hand, the successful performance of an issuer has a positive influence on the stock price in the market which is the subject of forecast made by the investors of Lithuania. Positive changes of stock prices in the market are partially influenced by the expectations of investors that stock prices will grow rapidly in the future. However, this feature is not known and can only be forecasted using different econometric models. At the theoretical level scientists disagree about the effectiveness of the methods used by the Lithuanian investors. Recently technical and fundamental analyses became popular among investors, though there is not much research done in order to test the effectiveness of the applicability of these methods in the Lithuanian stock market. With reference to the above mentioned information, this research is aimed to determine whether it is possible to forecast stock prices by estimating the financial ratios of a particular company. Due to this reason, a link between the return of a stock price and the financial ratios of the selected companies will be evaluated using correlation and covariance as the main analytical tools. Appropriate conclusions and suggestions are provided after obtaining reliable empirical results.
