The purpose of this article is to analyze the relationship between positively valued traits and psychological and social factors in the Polish labor market. In addition, it was shown whether the relationship between these variables differed by gender, and both negative and positive associations of these relationships were demonstrated. As a result, differences were found within the overall relationship, as well as separately by gender, between certain employee characteristics and certain levels of psychological and social workplace factors.
Achieving positive production and economic results in the businesses is no longer a product of the efforts of an organic circle of people, but a result of the activity of the members of the entire organization.Thus, the issue of employee motivation and commitment to the business entity becomes one of the basic prerequisites for the organizational efficiency and success. The lack of motivation and attachment to the goals of the company lead to increased staff turnover and reduced efficiency. This makes the investment of training, qualification and professional development of the human resources meaningless. The aforementioned necessitates the study and analysis of the main factors, which determine the people’s behavior at work, their motivation and involvement in the business entity.The purpose of this research is to investigate the relationship between the motivation of human resources and their commitment to the business organization. Establishing the interaction between the different determinants is essential in practical terms, as it allows one to predict the appearance of a certain attitude or behavior in the presence of the others.
Scientific researches were carried out when deepening into the problems connected with the fields of human resources and their formation, possibilities and activity perspectives. The aim of these researches was to clear out management presumptions of human resources formation influencing regularity and entrepreneurship orientated towards up-to-date problems as well as to present their formation possibilities. In the article the object of the research was analysed at both general and organizational levels. Following the results of the carried out researches, management presumptions of human resources formations were grounded, the characteristic of the competences of the alternation, as one of the processes in the processes of the development and progress of system elements, was presented in the article. The systematic approach towards entrepreneurship as well as towards the groups of factors influencing it (from the management viewpoint) was emphasized in the article. The further directions of the researches of human resources formation were directed in the article.
